Terms of Service

  1. By choosing to email a sound file (“Content”) to call_for_voices@hellokitty.com, you grant Sanrio Digital a licence to publish or republish the Content, and you grant Sanrio Digital a world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive licence to reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, publicly perform and publicly display the Content in any way Sanrio Digital deems appropriate, including but not limited to:

    • Creation and use of a theme song for Hello Kitty Online
    • Promoting and marketing Sanrio Digital's products and services;
    • Promoting and marketing the products and services of Sanrio Digital’s parent companies, partners, affiliates, and licensees;

  2. You understand and accept that the Content will become the exclusive property of Sanrio Digital and protected by Hong Kong SAR and relevant foreign and international intellectual property rights laws. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or perfor mance of the Content is strictly prohibited unless authorized by Sanrio Digital.

  3. All Contents created by Sanrio Digital, its partners, or its suppliers or licensor and included on any Products and Services by Sanrio Digital, including but not limited to text, email messages, logos, graphics, animation characters, images, javascript code, HTML code, and other software, is owned by or licensed to Sanrio Digital (or its parent companies or partners or suppliers) and protected by Hong Kong SAR, international copyright and other foreign intellectual property laws.

  4. sanriotown.com and Sanrio animation characters are the registered trademarks of Sanrio or its parent companies or partners or affiliates or its licensor ("Sanrio marks") or licensees. Sanrio marks shall not be used (a) in connection with any product or service that is not provided or permitted by Sanrio Digital, its parent companies, partners or affiliates or licensor; (b) or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers; (c) or in any manner that disparages or discredits the Company or its parent companies or partners of affiliates or its licensor; or (d) otherwise deemed objectionable or inappropriate in the sole opinion of Sanrio Digital.
